Our Story

A Dream That Became Reality

A girl dreamed it.
We made it happen.
And all of you embraced it.
That’s how this wonderful journey began. From the dream of an eight-year-old girl who wanted to make a difference through giving. She made lemonade, sold it in her neighborhood, and donated the small amount she collected “to save the children in Afghanistan.” That simple act of kindness inspired other children — and the dream began to grow.

From a handful of kids, we became hundrets.
Listening to the voices of those first children, a group of parents founded The Young Volunteers, an organization that, 22 years later, remains full of children’s laughter, friendships, creativity, and heartfelt achievements.
Volunteering is more than an action — it’s a way of life.

It requires time, soul, strength, patience, and boundless love. And if you ask whether it was worth it, the answer is simple:
Not for a single moment do we regret it.

Because nothing compares to the joy you feel from a child’s smile, the relief on a mother’s face, or the gratitude of an elderly person who simply needed a hand to hold. From small gestures to large projects — from offering food to renovating hospitals — every act carries its own meaning and beauty.

This is what volunteering is all about:
To share.
To love.
To give.
And through it all — to become a better human being.

A girl dreamed it.
We made it happen.
And you embraced it.
Thank you!
